Ventzeslav Sabev is a graduate of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Boston, USA) and of the Institute of International Studies (Geneva, Switzerland). He started his career at the United Nations in Geneva and New York and subsequently shifted to the private sector. He held various management positions in the specialty chemicals industry in Europe (Switzerland, Germany, Austria) and in Asia (Singapore, Indonesia). This international experience inspired him to establish "SEA-2-CEE", a consulting group focusing on developing business, cultural and institutional ties between South East Asia and Central-Eastern Europe.
He is the Vice-President for international development and strategic partnerships of the Geneva Spiritual Appeal, a Swiss-based organization. He is also Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees of the International Social Service (Bulgaria), Goodwill Ambassador of the Help the Needy Foundation and adviser to the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute. Previously, he served as President of the Graduate Institute of International Studies' Alumni Association. In 2007, he was the editor of “Europe at 50: "Change the paradigm… Save the Dream”.
